Terms of use
The practical rules for accounts, research submissions, review and use of the conference website.
Your portal shows whether a research record is a draft, submitted, under review or decided.
Using this website
This website provides information and research-administration services for the Ghana Tourism and Hospitality Research Conference, scheduled for 12–13 August 2027 at the University of Cape Coast.
Use the website responsibly and provide accurate information. Programme, venue arrangements, deadlines and guidelines can change as the organisers confirm details. Read the current Call for Papers and any instructions shown in your portal.
Accounts & access
Use an email address you control, verify it when requested, and keep your password and sign-in session secure. Do not share an account or impersonate another person. Authors, reviewers and administrators have different permissions.
Contact the secretariat if you suspect unauthorised access. Organisers may restrict conference access to protect the service or investigate misuse.
Research submissions
Submit original work that you have permission to share. You are responsible for its accuracy, research ethics, acknowledgements, co-author consent and any necessary institutional permissions. Collect permission before entering someone else’s personal details.
Upload an anonymised review copy in an accepted format and within the displayed limits. Check the title, authors, track, document and declarations before final submission. Saving a draft does not submit it for review.
Authors retain their rights in submitted work. Uploading a paper permits the organising team and assigned reviewers to use it to administer review and the conference. Proceedings or journal publication may require separate agreement; it is not automatic.
Review, decisions & revisions
The Scientific Committee manages review assignments and acceptance decisions. Submitting an abstract does not guarantee acceptance, presentation, an award or publication. Reviewers must declare conflicts and respect the confidentiality of assigned work.
Authors can view released decisions and author-facing comments in their portal. Confidential committee comments are not shared with authors. Follow any revision instructions and upload a new review copy when requested. Contact the secretariat about a decision or technical problem.
Acceptable use & confidentiality
Do not upload malicious files, unlawful material, content you lack permission to share, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, bypass permissions, scrape private research or disrupt the service.
Reviewers and administrators must use non-public material only for their assigned conference responsibilities. Do not share private papers, author data or committee discussions outside the authorised process.
Registration & payments
Research submission is currently separate from delegate registration. Registration and payment collection remain disabled pending finance approval. An acceptance letter is not a payment receipt or confirmation of a paid delegate place.
Fees, payment methods, included activities and cancellation or refund terms will be published before paid registration opens. Do not send money based on unconfirmed information.
Service availability & external links
We aim to keep the website available, but maintenance, network problems or service-provider outages may interrupt access. Keep a copy of your research files and allow time before a deadline. A submitted status in the portal is your confirmation that the research record was received.
External websites operate under their own terms. Illustrative destination imagery does not confirm a particular venue, accommodation or included activity.
Privacy, updates & questions
The Privacy notice explains how conference information is handled. Cookie preferences lets you manage optional analytics.
Organisers may revise these website terms as arrangements develop. The updated date identifies this version. Use the contact form for questions about participation, research administration or these terms.
